Dear Chatham Families,
We are pleased to inform you that we have completed our emergency repairs and Internet service has been returned to our schools. Therefore, all Chatham schools will resume in-person learning on Wednesday, October 28 as normal. All students who are scheduled to attend classes in person tomorrow should report to campus; students scheduled for remote learning should report to classes online. A reminder to all students, please bring your Chromebooks with you when you return.
This most recent Internet outage was caused by an internal equipment failure. With this equipment now replaced, we do not anticipate further problems in this area. However, as you are aware, our District previously experienced several temporary Internet outages that were caused by issues originating outside of the District, which today’s fix cannot address. Please know we continue to work with our Internet provider to pinpoint the source of those internet outages and find a permanent solution to them.
