Letter to 7th Grade About Reopening

(September 2, 2020)

Dear Seventh Grade Families,

I hope you all had a great summer. We have been preparing and planning for a positive start to the 2020-2021 school year. While very different than most years, we will do everything possible in making this a safe learning environment for students. Soon you will receive your schedule. Your schedule may look different depending on in person or remote learning. Please be patient; we appreciate your flexibility as we complete all the details necessary to ensure a great start to our school year.

As a reminder we are starting remote the weeks of September 14th-September 25th. We will be sending the remote schedule out as soon as possible so students will know what time to log on and meet with their teachers that week.

Starting the week of September 28th- October 2nd we will be transitioning students back who chose in person learning. On Tuesday September 29th seventh grade students with last names A-L who chose in person learning will come to school.

On Thursday October 1st students with last names M-Z who chose in person learning will come to school. They will then be remote for the remainder of the week as we transition the rest of 7th and 8th grade students back.

On Monday October 5th ALL STUDENTS GRADES 6-8 will start live instruction daily.

If you have a Chromebook that is not working properly, please let us know so we can swap and/or repair it.

Thank you so much for your cooperation and flexibility and we look forward to seeing all of you very soon!
