Message from Mr. Burns on Reopening, Yearbooks

(July 23, 2020)

Dear Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade Families,

First I hope you are all enjoying your summer and that you are safe and healthy. These past two
weeks myself and Mike Stead have been calling families to check in and see how everyone is
doing. We have also been answering questions about what the school year will look like in the
fall. While we don’t have all the answers, I can assure you that whatever plan is implemented
our priority is safety and a strong academic program. As more information is relayed we will be
sharing our District’s plan with all of you. Governor Cuomo will be making a final determination
of what school will look like on August 7th. Until then we are continuing to plan, assess, and
follow guidance from the State Education Department, Department of Health and CDC

Yearbooks! We have received notice that yearbooks should be in any day now. When they
arrive we will be mailing them to you. I appreciate your patience during these times. If you have
any questions or concerns please reach out to me at
