School Budget Vote & Board of Ed. Election June 9

Our District’s annual School Budget Vote and Board of Education Election has been rescheduled to June 9, 2020 and will take place by absentee ballot only, per an executive order issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo. Every eligible voter will receive an absentee ballot and a postage-paid return envelope in the mail.

You are an eligible voter if you are:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years old by June 9, 2020
  • Registered to vote
  • Live and have lived within the Chatham Central School District boundaries for at least 30 days prior to June 9, 2020

Anyone who meets the definition of a “qualified voter” but has not registered to vote must do so to receive an absentee ballot. A qualified voter may register with the county or with the school district. Voter registration with the school district will be conducted on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Mary E. Dardess Elementary building.
