Thanks for the Masks!

Chatham Central School District is pleased to be the beneficiary of washable cloth masks crafted by our own community members! The District provided the masks to our essential, front line staff working in Food Service, Transportation, Child Care, Cleaning and Maintenance. We would like to thank the Mighty Masketeers of Columbia County, Kate Boehme, and Susan Diskin for their generous contribution of skill, time and materials in order to help our school continue to safely serve our community. Thanks also go out to the Columbia County Department of Health, who has provided our District with an additional 200 medical masks. With thousands of orders throughout the community, the Mighty Masketeers could use a hand, either in the form of donations of materials (cotton fabric, flannel, interfacing, elastic, thread) or help with cutting and/or sewing the masks. Together, we will get through this!
