Model Congress Earns School Spirit Award at AIC

Chatham High School’s Model Congress Club attended the 80th annual Model Congress at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, MA and again brought home the School Spirit Award for demonstrating the highest level of participation, enthusiasm, and team spirit! In January, Chatham joined ten other high schools from throughout the northeast to write, debate, and pass legislation in a weekend-long simulation of the United States Congress. The keynote speaker at the event was United States Congressman and Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee Richard E. Neal, a 1972 graduate of the college. 2020 marks an astounding seven years in a row that AIC has awarded the School Spirit award to Chatham High School.
