Our kindergarten students did a STEM activity October 25 to foster deeper thinking skills. Parents were invited into the classroom to help students build three-dimensional shapes using play-dough and toothpicks. Students had a great time creating shapes of all kinds, from cubes to pyramids. By the end of the activity they were inventing their own shapes! Each month, kindergarteners will do a monthly stem activity – stay tuned to see what November’s stem activity will be!
