Music Parent Night is Wednesday, September 25. This is an opportunity for 4th grade parents to learn the basics of their child’s new instrument in a small group lesson with Mr. Hoffman (Band Teacher) or Mr. Goodwin (Orchestra Teacher). Parents are highly encouraged to attend with their child to learn about instrument basics such as setup, playing technique and instrument care. Group lesson times are set according to instruments (violin students may come to either violin session that works best for parents’ schedules).

4th grade students will begin instrument lessons the week of Monday, September 30. Instruments rented from John Keal Music or borrowed from the school will be given out at Music Parent Night. Students who are unable to attend Music Parent Night will receive their instrument in their first lesson.
