MED Students Become Equine Advocates

Here are some pictures from our classes’ field trips to Equine Advocates. Located nearby in Chatham, Equine Advocates operates a sanctuary for rescued horses and other related animals such as mules, donkeys, and goats. The students toured the barns and fields, met many of the animals, and learned about the care they require from sanctuary staff. Throughout May and June, every grade at MED will make a visit to Equine Advocates to learn about these large animals and their ethical treatment.
