The first grade took a class-wide field trip to the Children’s Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST) in Troy on May 16. CMOST is a science learning center designed specifically for children aged 18 months to tweens. Our students explored the Museum’s engaging learning environment, which pairs innovative educational tools and techniques with engaging exhibits, giving the children the opportunity to make their own connections between science, the world, and everyday life. Along the way, CMOST staff introduced the students to the nature exhibits and got to meet some pretty cool critter, such as a turtle and snake.
