Code Bracelets

In the art room, third graders learned about binary code by creating something they could wear.  Each student created a bracelet using their first, middle and last name initials by finding the binary code for each letter and then creating a pattern with beads.  It was challenging but they did great! This lesson was part of MED’s ongoing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) learning programs.
