As part of our 7th grade guidance program, Team 7 took a trip to the Questar III BOCES Columbia-Greene Educational Center in Hudson to learn about the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. CTE is a regional public education program that offers high school students the opportunity to explore a career interest and develop specialized skills through hands-on learning and integrated academics. Students can focus on the construction industry, cosmetology, culinary arts, HVAC, criminal justice, aviation, information technology, healthcare, and more. The 7th graders toured the facility, heard from teachers there, and checked out some of the projects CTE students are currently working on.
