On Wednesday, the MED Language Concepts K-5 classes visited Equine Advocates in Chatham, where the students were able to view and pet the farm’s horses (which include mustangs), donkeys, and goats. Students practiced appropriate field trip behaviors, learned how to behave around the large animals, and discussed what the horses and donkeys needed to live fully. Equine Advocates is a national non-profit organization that gives a beautiful sanctuary to farm animals in need. They kindly opened their doors to MED this year and the students thank them!
