Joe Trionfero of Show of Love Assemblies led an exciting and inclusive school-wide assembly at CMS April 27. Through music, fun, and audience participation, his show built on themes of respect, civility, responsibility, and leadership as learned from our nation’s older generations, particularly our veterans. Mr. Trionfero had the students compete against the faculty in a listening challenge game. Alternating between students and staff, he asked them to name songs, television shows, and movies from seconds-long sound clips. Students with the correct answers were asked to come forward and give examples of how to be responsible, make correct choices, and do the right thing by others. They also got to do a lot of singing and dancing! Mr. Trionfero’s visit was made possible by a grant from the Chatham Education Foundation of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
