Chatham Grads Talk Hard Work with Students

As part of Chatham Middle School’s leadership theme this month, school counselor Jackie Hoffman arranged to have members of our community who are hardworking Chatham graduates in to visit and give mini presentations to the students. Columbia County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Van Alstyne (pictured here with K9 partner Kira and Deputy Garvey), college students Katie Kraham (who’s majoring in education) and Allysa Sarani (who’s majoring in psychology), and Ghent Highway Superintendent Ben Perry all reinforced the benefits of hard work, pursuing their talents and opportunities, and their respect for the Chatham adults who supported them.
