The Board of Education will host a public information session on a proposed capital improvement project for the Chatham Central School District. This public forum will take place Tuesday, February 13, 7:00 p.m. in the Chatham High School library, as part of the Board’s regular meeting scheduled for that evening. Superintendent of Schools Sal DeAngelo will lead a presentation on the scope of work being considered to address buildings and grounds concerns throughout the District, as well as the project’s potential financial impact. The Board plans to finalize its proposal in March and will ask voters to decide on the project in a May, 2018 referendum. The Board offers the public information session as an opportunity for residents to learn about the proposed work, ask questions, and provide comment to the Board.
