It wasn’t lunch time when Chatham Middle School’s Service Club headed to the cafeteria after school on December 5th; it was time to help others who have fallen on hard times. The students combined peanut butter, jelly, and their hunger to make a difference into 201 sandwiches for the Capital City Rescue Mission, which supports homeless people in the Albany area with meals, shelter, and other services. School counselor Mrs. Hoffman, the club’s advisor, delivered the sandwiches to the Mission the following day.
