Pumpkin Science

Students from the fourth grade classes participated in the annual Pumpkin Science Lab on October 27. Students gathered in the cafeteria and began work on dissecting their pumpkins with their partners. They found the circumference, the weight, and analyzed the shape and various structural qualities of their pumpkins (their teachers cut open the pumpkins for them). Even Mr. Sutton, MED’s assistant principal, joined in on the fun and was called upon to help cut some very stubborn pumpkins!
