Key Communicator students and the guidance department hosted a “Mix It Up At Lunch” in the CMS cafeteria on October 11. The event, part of Bully Prevention Month at CMS, challenges social boundaries while fostering positive relationships between different groups of students. During their respective 6th, 7th, and 8th grade lunch periods, the students were assigned to sit at a table with students who they don’t usually socialize with. The Key Communicators led fun challenges that the students could work on as a group to compete against other tables, such as cup stacking, building spaghetti towers, or picking up wiffle balls with a spoon.
