Looking Ahead to April, Sixth-Graders Plant Tulips
Students in Mrs. Zema's Home and Careers class planted 100 tulip bulbs in front of the Chatham Middle School sign Thursday, Nov. 12. The tulips will be red, representing Chatham's school colors, and will bloom in mid-to-late-April, stay for a few weeks, and then come back the next year. Students looked up facts and information about the bulbs and the connection of tulips in this area with the Dutch explorers.
