Fall Coaches Meeting
On August 25, the athletic department held a meeting for all fall-season coaches to discuss coaching responsibilities and updated extracurricular policies.
Among the topics covered were selection/classification guidelines, changes to tryout guidelines, safety, and good communication practices between coaches, parents and students.
The District recently undertook a thorough review of its athletic and extracurricular policies and procedures. Updates were made to coaching procedures and guidelines, fundraising policies, and the extracurricular guide. Mandatory pre-season coaches meetings held at the start of all fall, winter, and spring seasons keep coaches informed and up-to-date on these guidelines and policies, allowing them to provide athletes with the best possible experience.
