Patroon Conference Captain’s Council
Chatham student-athlete team leaders attended the 1st Annual Patroon Conference Captain’s Council, held January 9th at Columbia Greene Community College.
Chatham’s athletes joined high school students from eight other Patroon Conference schools to learn more about team building, the dangers of social media, nutrition, and the keys to being a successful college athlete.
Head baseball coach at Mount Saint Mary’s College, Steve Sosler, was the keynote speaker and addressed the audience on the benefits of participating in college athletics.Throughout the day-long event, students also heard from presenters Ron Annis, owner of Top Form, Inc.; Hans Hanson, owner of The College Sports Track; William Pelgin, C.E.O. of the Center for Internet Security; Bryan Dailey, high school educator and coach; Jeff Hanson, former professional baseball player and Sacred Heart University standout; C-GCC President James R. Campion, and C-GCC assistant director of admissions and head
