NHS Induction Ceremony
Chatham High School inducted thirty-five juniors into National Honor Society this June.
Membership in National Honor Society recognizes the excellence in academics, service, character and leadership these students have demonstrated.
The National Honor Society was founded in 1929 to recognize and encourage academic achievement and citizenship among young people. To qualify, students must not only excel in their scholastic studies, but must also display outstanding character and leadership qualities, as well as actively serve their school and community. Students are typically inducted into the society at the end of their junior year of high school.
