Chatham Middle School Guidance

Mrs. Hess   Mrs. Hoffman     Mrs. Herron  Dr. Hagborg     Mrs. Kapusta

I am a graduate of Chatham High School married to a 1964 Chatham graduate.  Our daughter also attended and graduated from Chatham!  She recently married and lives  in  Florida.

I have worked in the Chatham Central School District since 1994.  I started work as the secretary in the Guidance Office in September of 2006.  I have loved all my years at Chatham but the decision to work in the Guidance Office was one of the best ones I have ever made.  Our office is busy and interesting, I have the opportunity to meet and talk with many of our students, and it’s been great fun getting to know them.

In my free time I spend a lot of time serving in local government,  walking, riding my bike, reading, spending time with family and friends, and I love to travel (especially to Florida!). I have participated in the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” since 2000 and I have recently joined a group of women, Breast Cancer Survivors, and we have formed a team to participate in Dragon Boat Racing.  Our team name is “Hope in the Boat”.  The Chinese Dragon is a symbol of a good omen, representing inner strength and spirit.  It is our hope that we will be protected until the race against cancer brings an end to this disease at last.
