Senior Citizen and Limited Income Disability Exemptions

BE IT RESOLVED that the income eligibility level for the real property tax exemption granted to persons with disabilities, and limited income as described in Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law, be established at the maximum amount authorized by law.

R.61 BE IT RESOLVED that the maximum income eligibility level of persons over 65 years of age receiving the real property tax exemption authorized by Section 467 of the Real Property Tax Law be established at the maximum amount authorized by law.

R.62 BE IT RESOLVED that an exemption be granted in the amount of 10% of the assessed value of real property (not exceeding $3,000 multiplied by the latest State Equalization Rate) for residential real property owned by an enrolled member of an incorporated volunteer fire company, fire department or incorporated volunteer ambulance service as authorized by Section 466-d of the Real Property Tax Law.
