Tiny T’s for Caring Bears

A school-wide service project at CMS will help bring comfort to children in the hospital. Every day after school last week, Chatham students in grades six, seven, and eighth volunteered to cut, decorate, pin and sew teddy bear outfits for Columbia Memorial Hospital’s Caring Bear project, which provides comforting teddy bears to children who come through the Emergency Department. The students decorated the teddy bear T’s with uplifting messages. Together with help from school staff and a few community volunteers, they made over 50 outfits!
