Here’s a little E2 story for you:
Kiki, a second grader in Mrs. Robichaud’s class, recently had to start wearing a patch to help her with an eye condition she has. Having to wear a patch in school made Kiki very uncomfortable, but Mrs. Robichaud’s class has risen to the occasion to support her and make things easier for her. Last week, Kiki’s mom visited the class with a story to share about why Kiki wears an eye patch, and she brought along eye patches for the students to decorate, which they were eager to do. Now, every morning Mrs. Robichaud helps Kiki chose an eye patch to wear that one of her classmates decorated just for her! And this week on Halloween, everyone in Mrs. Robichaud’s class donned pirate eye patches to wear in solidarity with Kiki (that’s Kiki in the middle wearing blue)! Great job Mrs. Robichaud’s class, you make a great example of Chatham’s Everyone, Everyday spirit!
